During the time I have known Ann Marie she has consistently demonstrated qualities of integrity, responsibility, and ambition, as well as her dedication to Grafton.
Ann Marie has consistently proven she has the Town’s interests at heart. She has shown that by her many endeavors and her involvement in the safety, sustainability, and in the quality of all individuals living in this community.

"As a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and a relatively new Grafton resident, I’ve had the opportunity to interact with Ann Marie on several occasions—both professionally and through community events. From the start, she has gone out of her way to welcome me and my family since we moved to Grafton three years ago, helping us feel connected and supported. Ann Marie brings a unique mix of professionalism, thoughtfulness, and genuine care to everything she does. She’s consistently responsive and engaged—whether I’ve had a quick question or needed guidance on something more complex. Her approach is always collaborative and respectful, and she carries herself with a calm, steady presence that builds trust.
One moment that stands out is when a neighborhood issue arose, and rather than waiting for information to come to her, Ann Marie went door to door to hear directly from residents. That kind of hands-on leadership speaks volumes about her commitment to the people of Grafton. Her deep involvement in the town, coupled with her strong track record, makes her an ideal candidate for continued service on the Select Board. As Grafton grows and evolves, we need thoughtful, experienced leaders like Ann Marie who understand the path ahead and are willing to do the work to bring everyone along. I strongly support Ann Marie’s candidacy and hope others will join me in doing the same."

"If you’re walking down the hallway of the municipal center and hear 'Jeepers!' it’s
likely that you have stumbled across one of the many meetings attended or chaired
by Ann Marie Foley. This expression is a hallmark of Ann Marie’s style:
approachable, warm, friendly, and energetic.
Working with Ann Marie on the Open Space and Recreation Committee, I was
drawn to her kindness, authenticity, and calm strength. Since then I have observed
her in many settings, both professional and social, including meetings for the Select
Board, Sustainable Grafton, and the Grafton Women’s Social. She treats people
with respect, lets others speak, and considers issues carefully before weighing in.
If someone mentions an action item, she writes it down in her trusty binder of notes
and then makes the phone call to push it forward. She does not wait for someone
else to pick up the slack, as so many other busy leaders do.
I feel lucky to have met and worked with her. She is truly a leader who listens and
follows through – just what we need right now, 'hey?'"

"I have known Ann Marie Foley for over 35 years, she had outstanding involvement at Boston University, in both the Physical Therapy program, as well as in university wide communities. The Grafton community is lucky to have her.
I can say without a doubt that Ann Marie is a DOER! She consistently examines all angles of an issue and gathers information, facts and figures to make her decisions. She manages multiple projects and commitments with ease and grace. There are few people that I would trust as much as Ann Marie, to make decisions that are best for all.
Her commitment to the Grafton community is unmatched. My husband worked in Grafton at the Municipal Police Institute, Inc. for 17 years. It was quite clear how favorably Ann Marie was viewed by law enforcement, public services, and the community as a whole. While she is particularly well perceived in the areas of public safety and town government, she has made positive contributions in all areas!
Alongside her community service, Ann Marie has excelled at running her business, caring for her disabled clients, caring for senior parents, as well as shouldering the immense grief of losing her husband Bob Foley, who was such a strong contributor to the town of Grafton in so many ways.
Furthermore, she has climbed Machu Picchu, Kilimanjaro, and competed in the Pan Mass Challenge. There is no challenge that she cannot overcome! And did you know she competed in the World Championships in Irish Step dancing?
I highly recommend Anne Marie Foley for reelection!"

" We Support Ann Marie Foley for Re-Election to the Grafton Select
Board!
It’s now spring and with it, abundant beautiful flowers and the Grafton Town
Election on Tuesday, May 20, to select two members of our Select Board.
Ann Marie Foley has well served the town after being elected to her first
term as a Select Board Member in 2022. We wholeheartedly endorse
Foley’s bid for re-election to her 2nd term! WHY? Foley has shown us,
during the past three years of her first term, that she is well up to the task of
serving the town of Grafton. She conducts her due diligence on issues
facing the town; studying the topic or issue and forming her opinion while
maintaining the ability to lead a discussion on difficult, involved issues
coming before the Select Board. She has demonstrated that she is an
asset to the town in so many ways and should be re-elected to the Select
Board!

"Ann Marie Foley is an undeniable asset to Grafton’s Select Board and I’m very
thankful for her ongoing commitment to the town. As Select Board Chair, she
continues to show her leadership, empathy and integrity; she’s extremely
knowledgeable, dedicated, kind and respectful. Ann Marie truly cares about
protecting the future and wellbeing of Grafton and its residents. Her years of
service to the town are evident in her thoughtful and accurate responses to
questions and concerns brought to her.
She’s actively involved in a variety of town committees and groups in addition to
the Select Board and she keeps up to date with current projects, issues and events;
her level of dedication is quite amazing. Her equanimity in the face of adversity
and her ability to navigate difficult situations is second to none. Her levelheaded
and impartial perspective has garnered her the support of residents with varying
social and economic views— this is a trait that I greatly value in a candidate that
will represent our diverse town.
With all that Ann Marie does for Grafton and its residents, it is crucial that she
maintains a position on the Select Board. I am proudly voting for Ann Marie Foley
for Grafton’s Select Board, and I encourage all eligible Grafton voters to do the
same."

"In the spirit of concise, easily digestible information for voters, I'd like to offer the following bullet points in why I support Ann Marie Foley for Select Board.
● Listens- heard the growing concerns of residents/business owners re: Feedback
Earth and did not dismiss them.
● Acts- put Feedback Earth on the Select Board Agenda.
● Keeps Promises- committed to keeping it on the agenda until it was resolved, and
she did.
● Diplomatic- able to entertain ideas and facilitate difficult conversations, even when different from hers, not only with Feedback but more recently with town budget
discussions- which will arise again next year.
As spring warms up and you can open your windows, walk your dog, send the kids to play outside, plant your garden, fire up the grill, begrudgingly start thinking about opening your pool-pause with me to thank the person who put Feedback Earth on the agenda and allowed us to start the conversation. So many people came together to solve an incredibly challenging problem because of it.
We are so lucky to have Ann Marie willing to come back for another term, and for the possibilityof Grafton making the news not for terrible air quality and Attorney General lawsuits, but for all the great things going on here. We have so many things, and people, to be proud of in Grafton. I think Ann Marie is one of them. Go vote!"

"We have known Ann Marie Foley for 25 years, so we are very familiar with her intelligence, warm heart and strong community involvement. And despite already knowing her so well, we are still in awe of the job she has done serving on the Select Board - she is just that good.
Her dedication and willingness to listen is unparalleled. She approaches every issue with genuine open-mindedness and a goal of determining the best course of action for the community. She is a straight-shooter, without pandering, posturing or self-aggrandizement; she simply gets to work tackling the issues at hand. Her honesty, integrity and sense of fairness are beyond reproach.
